The overall condition of the jewellery you are looking to sell or trade isn’t necessarily taken into account, as the scrap calculator primarily considers the metal content and the weight. However, if the jewellery is significantly damaged then this could compromise the remaining, in-tact metal and thus impact the quoted price.
